My Story
It is far more fun to tell you about the colorful adventures and fantastic creatures that live in the eternally effervescing castles of my imagination; far less interesting for my readers to hear the trite tale of childhood sickness and teenage angst that shaped the introverted entrepreneur I eventually became. Suffice it to say that I survived my infancy against all odds, and perhaps this is why I chose to pursue a career as an author in the age of AI. I’m quite used to having the odds stacked against me. Just as my childhood self struggled for years to breathe with lungs and skin plagued by allergies and autoimmune conditions, it seems fitting now that I continue the struggle to be heard.

Most of all, during my early writing years I found comfort and the courage to write the next page sometimes from God and the people He placed in my life, but more often in the books I read by other brilliant human authors who came before me. I am not unique in the desire to tell a good story. The desires of my heart have been expressed before, and with far more eloquence than I am currently capable of, but I will become a better writer with practice, and my stories will be the comforting friends to future readers that other stories have been for me.

If you’ve gotten this far in reading this bio, then I applaud you. You are a rarity in this world of goldfish attention spans, and for you I leave only this final wish: May you be the recipient of these gifts. I hope you enjoy the stories I have to share with you.

The Prayer of a Writer
Lord of all things, whose wondrous gifts to man
Include the shining symbols known as words
Grant that I may use their mighty power only for good.
Help me to pass on
Small fragments of Your wisdom, truth, and love.
Teach me to touch the unseen, lonely heart
With laughter, or the quick release of tears.
Let me portray the courage that endures,
Defiant in the face of pain or death;
The kindness and the gentleness of those
Who fight against the anger of the world;
The beauty hidden in the smallest things;
The mystery, the wonder of it all.
Open my ears, my eyes; unlock my heart.
Speak through me Lord, if it be Your will. Amen
Save
Lord of all things, whose wondrous gifts to us
Include the shining symbols known as words,
Grant that we may use their mighty power
Only for God. Help us pass on
Small fragments of Your wisdom, truth and love,
Teach us to touch the unseen, lonely heart
With laughter, or the quick release of tears.
Let us portray the courage that endures
Defiant in the face of pain or death;
The kindness and gentleness of those
Who fight against the anger of the world;
The beauty hidden in the smallest things;
The mystery, the wonder of it all.
Open our ears, our eyes; unlock our hearts.
Speak through our work, Lord, if it be Your Will. Amen.
